Angela Michelle "Angie" Harmon is an American fashion model and television/film actress. She became a well-known model in the 1990s and developed a career as a television star after roles on Baywatch Nights and Law & Order.

Harmon has spent most of her life in front of a camera. Both of her parents are models, and she began modeling when she was a baby. Her first brush with fame came as a newborn, when she appeared in "How to Give Your Baby a Bath." When Harmon was 15 years old, she beat out 63,000 other contestants in a national contest for the cover spot on Seventeen magazine.

After graduation from Highland Park High School in 1990, Harmon won the Spectrum Model Search and soon was gracing the runways for such noted designers as Calvin Klein, Versace, Donna Karan, and Valentino, among others. She went on to model for Vogue, Cosmopolitan, GQ, Esquire, and Harper's Bazaar. During this time, she also began studying acting.

Harmon moved to Los Angeles in the mid-1990s to concentrate on an acting career. In 1995, she was "discovered" when she met producer-actor David Hasselhoff on a transcontinental flight and impressed him enough to be offered the lead in the detective series spin-off Baywatch Nights. Harmon quickly segued to ABC's short-lived drama C-16 (1997–98), playing a rookie FBI agent.

Harmon's first movie gig was in the independent film Lawn Dogs (1997) with Sam Rockwell. In 1998, she was landed the role of Assistant District Attorney Abbie Carmichael on the award-winning NBC series Law & Order. She has also appeared in episodes of Law & Order: SVU.

In June 2001 Harmon married New York Giants football player Jason Sehorn. The couple is expecting their first child in October 2003.

In 2006, Harmon starred as the lead in the ABC pilot Secrets of a Small Town, which did not go to series. She also starred in another failed television show on NBC, Inconceivable. The program was canceled after two episodes. The following year, she starred in another ABC pilot, Women's Murder Club. The police drama was picked up, but only ten of the thirteen episodes aired.

Harmon was one of five actresses who posed discreetly nude for the May 2008 issue of Allure magazine, along Gabrielle Union, Zoe McLellan, Jill Scott, and Ana Ortiz.

In 2010 Harmon hosted an Infomercial for "UpLiv", a stress management program and also appeared in an infomercial for Olay "Pro-X" wrinkle cream.

Harmon co-stars with Sasha Alexander in the TNT crime-drama series Rizzoli & Isles, playing Boston, Massachusetts, police detective Jane Rizzoli. The show premiered July 12, 2010.

Harmon appeared in the music video for Craig Morgan's "This Ole Boy", released in January 2012. In July 2012, during promotions for a new season of Rizzoli and Isles, Harmon revealed on Conan O'Brien's late night series that she was a fan of and very interested in playing a movie version of the She-Hulk from Marvel Comics should such a movie become available.

In June 2021, Harmon had signed a multi-picture development deal with Lifetime where she hosted the documentary series Cellmate Secrets and starred as Hazel King in Buried in Barstow.
