Candice Michelle Beckman-Ehrlich better known as Candice Michelle or just Candice, is an American model, actress, and professional wrestler best known for her time with World Wrestling Entertainment.
At the age of 19, Candice Michelle moved to Los Angeles, CA and became a fitness model. A few years later, she started to appear in many movies and TV shows. Her movie roles include parts in Tomcats, Dodgeball, and Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. Her television appearances include 7th Heaven, Party of Five, Hang Time, The Man Show, and Monk.
WWE Diva Search:
In 2004, Candice Michelle competed in the first annual WWE Diva Search. Despite not winning the contest, she secured a role with the company. Her character was a make up artist. She would appear occasionally in the ring for things like swimsuit and lingerie contests.
At the 2005 Super Bowl, Candice appeared in a controversial commercial for Go Daddy.com. The commercial spoofed the Janet Jackson fiasco from a year earlier. The commercial was a lightning rod for controversy and helped propel her wrestling career. In 2005, she started to wrestle in the ring. Her character was a heel and she has tried on several occasions to seduce Vince McMahon. At the end of the year, she was the cover model of the book WWE Diva’s Uncovered.
In 2006, Candice became a star. She appeared in another Super Bowl ad for Go Daddy.com. The ad was rejected by ABC and re-edited over a dozen times. The night after the Super Bowl, she appeared on The Tonight Show to discuss the controversy. In the spring, she appeared on the cover of Playboy.
In 2007, Candice's in-ring skills rapidly improved. She was awarded for her hard work by being given a shot at the Women's Championship. At Vengeance, she beat Melina to win the title. A few months later, she lost the title to Beth Phoenix. In a rematch, she broke her clavicle and had to miss several months of action
