Chad Simpson is an American football running back who currently plays for the Washington Redskins.

Simpson is a two-year NFL veteran who spent the 2008-09 seasons with the Indianapolis Colts. He appeared in 25 regular season games and carried 30 times for 147 yards (4.9 avg.) and three touchdowns. He also registered six receptions for 31 yards and returned 53 kickoffs for 1,242 yards (23.4 average) and a touchdown. He was with the Buffalo Bills in 2010 preseason.
