Charlie Whitehurst is an American football quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League. He was drafted by the San Diego Chargers in the third round of the 2006 NFL Draft. He played college football at Clemson.

Joined the Seahawks March 18, 2010, via a trade with San Diego. Seattle received Whitehurst and San Diego’s 2010 second-round pick (60th overall) in exchange for Seattle’s 2010 second-round choice (40th overall) and a 2011 undisclosed draft pick.

NFL CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:

* Orginally drafted by San Diego in the third round (81st overall) of the 2006 NFL Draft. Played for the Chargers from 2006-09.
* Played in first NFL game taking over for Philip Rivers late in the fourth quarter vs. Tennessee (9/24/06) and scored first-career touchdown on a 14-yard run
