Originally recruited as a wide receiver, Webster shifted to the secondary as a sophomore and became one of the most decorated defensive backs in school history.

A 2-time 1st-team All-America at cornerback for the Tigers, he was also a 3-time 1st-team All-Southeastern Conference selection and was twice named a semifinalist for the Thorpe Award, which goes to college football's top defensive back.

Finished career with 117 tackles (88 solo), 16 interceptions and 51 pass breakups.
Was a 1st-team All-America selection by the American Football Coaches Association and The Sporting News and a 2nd-team choice by the Walter Camp Foundation as a senior.
Associated Press All-Southeastern Conference pick and a 2nd-team selection by the league's coaches.

First-team All-SEC pick by the AP and the league's coaches as a junior in 2003, when he started all 14 games for LSU's national champions and had 46 tackles (36 solo) and 7 interceptions.

OFF FIELD ACTIVITY


Corey's "Team C-Web Foundation" was formed to help support non-profit organizations whose programs and initiatives are geared toward assisting youth in Southeastern Louisiana. In addition to the funding provided by the foundation, they will render services to the community through various community outreach initiatives. In directly speaking and working with the youth, Corey hopes to motivate them to make the best decisions in life and to be leaders in their own community. This is why he chose the motto: Motivate. Inspire. Empower.

Corey is also an NFL "Play 60" fitness ambassador, and is participating in NFL Network's "Keep Gym in School" campaign in 2009.

Visited Manhattan Academy of Technology in NYC with several teammates to unveil a brand new fitness room with 6 workout stations through NFL Network's Keep Gym in School program.
Attended the United Way of New York City's 2009 "Gridiron Gala" fundraiser dinner.
Attended the "Champions for Children" fundraiser gala benefitting the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund Foundation.

Joined NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and Giants President John Mara to install new fitness equipment at Lyndhurst High School with the United Way of Bergen County and The American Heart Association as part of the 2009 "Hometown Huddle."

Attended the annual "Meet the Giants" fundraiser benefitting the Ronald McDonald House of New York City, a home away from home for kids fighting cancer and blood disorders.
Attended a fundraiser dinner hosted by Coach Peter Giunta for Holy Spirit School.
Joined Phil Simms to attend the "Cooking for Kids" event benefitting St. Joseph's Children's Hospital in Paterson, N.J.
