Holly Willoughby is an English television presenter and model, known for her work in presenting children's TV and entertainment shows. In her early career she was an underwear model and went on to present CD:UK. In 2006, she won a BAFTA and was chosen to present Dancing on Ice, a highly popular UK celebrity talent show, shown on ITV1 which drew in an average of 8.9m million viewers in the 2010 series .

Career

Holly started out as an underwear model for Pretty Polly, appearing in various adverts and posters - one wall poster featuring Holly and three other models is still available to buy in some shops. She moved to television in 2000, becoming one of the presenters on the short-lived CITV show S Club TV, a spin-off of the British pop band S Club 7. After that, she presented several shows for CBBC including Xchange and also the Fame Academy spin-off show on the CBBC Channel.

In 2004, Holly moved back to CITV to co-present the successor to SMTV Live, Ministry of Mayhem. Every Saturday morning, Holly usually gets covered in gunge and starred in several sketches and funny situations, one involving her skirt being tucked into her knickers as passers by looked on in astonishment, and also interviews special guests, whilst linking to various competitions and cartoons. Working on the show has opened up other presenting work for Holly, including co-presenting the ITV2 companion show for the infamous Celebrity Wrestling with Jack Osbourne, as well as occasionally presenting ITV1's flagship music show CD:UK, a role as of August 2005 that Holly was rumoured to be offered on a permanent basis. In 2005, Holly had to face some of her worst fears for the CITV programme Feel the Fear. Holly was voted 71st in FHM's 100 Sexiest Women In The World poll in 2005. She was voted 30th in 2006

Personal:
Willoughby is dyslexic. She is related by marriage to actress Tamzin Outhwaite, and is close friends with fellow TV presenter Fearne Cotton. Willoughby is a vocal supporter of Premier League football club Arsenal.

At the age of 25, she became engaged to Dan Baldwin, a producer on Ministry of Mayhem, and on the same day they moved into a flat in South London. Willoughby announced their engagement live on Saturday Showdown, on 6 May 2006. The wedding took place on 4 August 2007 at Amberley Castle, West Sussex. Willoughby gave birth to her first child, a boy named Harry James Baldwin, weighing 7 lb 4oz, on 11 May 2009. It was announced on This Morning on 1 November 2010 that Willoughby and Baldwin are expecting their second child, a girl, due in May 2011.
