Gaffney was a two-year starter at Raines County High School in Jacksonville, Fla., where he caught the game-winning touchdown pass in the fourth quarter of the state championship game as a junior... His cousin is Minnesota Vikings cornerback Lito Sheppard, who was teammates with Gaffney on the 1997 state championship team as well as at Florida...
