Jagapathi Babu life and biography

Jagapati Babu is an Indian manly actor in the Telugu film industry, prominent in the family and mass genres and he is in top league along with chiranjeevi,balakrishna,nagarjuna,venkatesh. Babu is the son of veteran producer-director V.B. Rajendra Prasad.

The Telugu actor Jagapathi Babu, mostly seen in comedy movies and at times in action movies, has won recognition in the industry for his work.

Jagapathi Babu made his debut in a movie directed by his father called Simha Swapnam (1989). He won the Nandi Best Actor Award for Maavi Chiguru (1996). Antahpuram (1998) was one of his major hits and won him the Nandi Award for Best Supporting Actor.

His performance in Manoharan (2000) won him a Nandi Best Actor Award. He won a second Nandi Award for Best Supporting Actor for Lakshyam (2007) in which he played a police officer.

His releases in 2009 are Siddam, Akasamantha and Bangara Babu with Meera Jasmine which is filmed in Jammu & Kashmir.
