After appearing in several student productions during high school and college, Jessica's first feature film was "The Locusts" in 1997, a drama set in the 1960's starring Vince Vaughn, Paul Rudd, Ashley Judd, and her mother. This was followed by a series of guest appearances on TV shows and minor roles in movies. Jessica's next major role was in "Valentine" in 2001, a horror flick with David Boreanaz and Denise Richards, followed by a small part in Spielberg's Minority Report in 2002.

After that, Jessica appeared in Spielberg's miniseries "Into The West" in 2005, an epic story about life in the American West in the 19th century.
