Joel Anthony is a Canadian professional basketball player in the NBA who is currently a member of the Miami Heat.

Anthony attended prestigious Selwyn House School in Montreal from 1994 to 1997. He graduated from Emmanuel Christian School, class of '99. After Emmanuel, he attended Dawson College, where he was cut from the preliminary basketball squad.

2009-10 :

Started 16 of the 80 games in which he saw action with the HEAT and averaged 2.7 points (.478 FG%, .717 FT%), 3.1 rebounds, 1.36 blocks, 0.2 assists and 16.5 minutes¡­was a DNP-CD on two occasions (Dec. 4 at the L.A. Lakers and Mar. 10 vs. the L.A.
