Attended San Diego State University (2004-08) where he played in 39 games (19 starts)... Began his collegiate career as a tight end, but moved to the offensive line prior to the start of his junior season... Played in19 games at TE and 20 games as an offensive lineman... Sat out the 2006 season to recover from a torn ACL... Posted 15 career catches for 195 yards (13.0 avg) and 1 touchdown... As a senior, moved to RG during fall camp prior to the season...
