Leah Seawright is an American country and southern Rock music singer. She is a native and still a resident of Fort Payne, Alabama.

Leah Seawright's love for singing started at an early age. "I remember standing on an old tree stump, singing my heart out for the neighborhood kids" she laughs. Leah's parents were singer/musicians, so it came as no surprise that she'd follow in their footsteps. "Times were hard, growing up in Alabama. We didn't have a lot of material things, but we had music," she recalls. "Music has always been a constant in my life."

Leah began her musical journey with a local southern rock/country band. "I sang everything from Reba and Tanya Tucker, to Bonnie Raitt and Lynyrd Skynyrd. I believe having so many influences help me to develop my own unique sound… I love performing, whether it's on stage, or just sittin' round pickin' with family and friends. This is my passion… It’s who I am.”

Leah shared the stage with several well known artists, such as Mark Chesnutt, Wade Hayes, Restless Heart, John Michael Montgomery, and Exile. Her performance experience expands across the country.

Leah is so excited to debut her album titled "Country Girl 101". The album not only showcases her vocals, but also reveals her diverse songwriting ability…

Legendary, Country Music Hall of Fame drummer, Mark Herndon, joined forces with Leah in the Fall of 2009, delivering rock solid grooves from the drums, creating a magical blend with Leah’s hot, country vocals. Her first single, "Country Girl 101" is sure to be a huge success in 2010!

Recently, she has signed with Kevin Roberts Entertainment Agency. She will be touring all over the U.S.
