Lukas Haas made his feature film debut at age 4 in Testament, as the youngest son of William Devane and Jane Alexander, before landing the leading role of Samuel, the Amish boy who witnesses a murder, in the critically acclaimed Witness, directed by Peter Weir. He also earned an Emmy nomination in the leading role of Ryan White, the brave real life AIDS victim, in the telefilm, The Ryan White Story.

Haas recently co-starred in such films as Stacy Cochran's Boys opposite Winona Ryder, the indie film Johns with David Arquette, Woody Allen's musical Everyone Says I Love You and Tim Burton's science fiction epic Mars Attacks! with Jack Nicholson and Glenn Close.

Other film credits include playing the role of Jessica Lange's son in The Music Box, Leap of Faith with Steve Martin and Debra Winger and Convicts with Robert Duvall and James Earl Jones. After reteaming with Duvall in Rambling Rose, Haas went on to co-star in Alan and Naomi, Solarbabies, Lady in White, The Wizard of Loneliness and See You in the Morning.

In addition to The Ryan White Story, his television work includes Perfect Tribute, A Place at the Table, Amazing Stories (the Ghost Train episode directed by Steven Spielberg), Twilight Zone, Shattered Spirits, Love Thy Neighbor and My Dissident Man.

On Broadway Haas starred with Steve Martin and F. Murray Abraham in Waiting for Godot, directed by Mike Nichols.
