Marion Bartoli is a French professional tennis player and the current French No. 1. She has won five Women's Tennis Association singles titles and three doubles titles. She was also a runner-up at the 2007 Wimbledon Championships.

Singles Titles
2009: Monterrey, Stanford
2006: Auckland, Tokyo, Québec City

Doubles Titles
2006: Prague
2005: Pattaya City
2004: Casablanca

Bartoli has defeated two reigning World No.1 players in her career so far. She defeated Justine Henin in the semi-final of the 2007 Wimbledon Championships 1–6, 7–5, 6–1 and she defeated Jelena Janković in the fourth round of the 2009 Australian Open 6–1, 6–4. She has also recorded wins over former World No. 1 Venus Williams, Ana Ivanović, Lindsay Davenport, Arantxa Sánchez Vicario, Dinara Safina, and Kim Clijsters as well as many top 5 and top 10 players.

The Frenchwoman has three loves: Two-handed strokes (which she uses for forehands and backhands), chocolate and Pierce Brosnan. Despite a fine junior career, Marion Bartoli wasn’t picked for success because she isn’t as quick or agile as other top pros. She proved her doubters wrong in 2007, when she upset Justine Henin and reached the Wimbledon final. It remains Bartoli’s best performance at a major tournament.
