Next she went on to the horror movie "Urban Legend", playing Tasha, the college camous DJ, which was followed by a small cameo in "Cruel Intentions", and a role in the independent flick "Girl."

In the summer of 1999 this now more of a recognizable star earned a form of screen immortality for her role as Vicky, the girlfriend of one of four high school guys who make a pact to lose their virginity by prom night in the teen-film "American Pie." Her role in this film had been centered around high school and sex, and featured a number of unforgettable scenes and struck a chord with teenagers acrossed the country. As a result, this film went box office and tossed Tara into the spotlight and created such an impression that she has not had a second to spare these days.

Later that year, this young, bright, and extremely sexy celebrity with a very promising future had it a wave of success, appearing with the rest of the cast in Rolling Stone, and appearing all by herself on the cover of Bikini. Diddy's 35th birthday party at Cipriani's Restaurant in New York when her dress fell, exposing her left breast and which photographs were subsequently distributed far and wide as a comparison to Janet Jackson's accidental exposure during her performance at Super Bowl XXXVIII. Diddy's 35th birthday party in New York last November. The commercial published on February 1, 2005, featured the tagline: "Dear Tara Reid. Come let it all hang out" has hinted that she had purposely exposed her breasts, which she claims was accidental. That's why per the suit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court Tara claimed the ad has affected her business in that she has lost value of her reputation and thus wanting a judge to prohibit Sky Las Vegas from continuing to publish or distribute the ads.
