NFL CAREER

Signed by the Saints late in the 2009 season, Humphrey will compete for a spot at tight end on the depth chart in 2010. A fourth-year player, he has played in 25 career games with 12 receptions for a total of 169 yards. His career – the first three seasons spent with the Green Bay Packers - has been slowed by a variety of injuries, having landed on injured reserve in 2006 (hamstring), 2007 (leg fracture) and 2009 (forearm fracture). A former standout at Central Michigan, Humphrey entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent signed by the Indianapolis Colts in 2005 before moving to the Packers’ practice squad and later their active roster.
