A Bay Area native, Travis LaBoy has been a valuable pass rusher coming off the edge throughout his career, totaling 23.5 sacks. He joins his hometown team after spending 2008 with the Arizona Cardinals following a stint with the Tennesse Titans.

As a senior, earned first-team All-WAC honors, named Defensive POY, and was recipient of team’s Alex Waterhouse MVP Award after starting 13 games at DE, posting 76 tackles, 2 INTs and a conference-high 13 sacks. As a junior, saw action in 12 games and finished with 65 tackles and 7 sacks. As a sopohomore, earned second-team All-WAC honors, playing in 9 games (6 starts) recording 52 tackles and 4 sacks.

PERSONAL

•Attended Marin Catholic HS in San Rafael, CA,, lettering in football, basket­ball and track. Named all-state, all-league and all-conference first-team choice as a senior, leading team to state title and league titles as a junior and sophomore.
•Spends time volunteering with his father’s, Cliff, non-profit organization, Ho’olauna, which tutors children.
•His father was a standout lineman for the Hawaii football program, earning Associated Press honorable mention All-America honors in 1974. He was a teammate of former Hawaii and Atlanta Falcons head coach June Jones.
•Older brother, C.J., transfered from Riverside Junior College and went to St. Mary’s College where he made the 2002 first-team All Independent All-Star team.
•Married to wife, Nohealani. The couple have two sons, Koby and Koa.
