Selected by Houston Texans in the seventh round (223rd pick overall) of the 2009 NFL Draft...Signed by Texans on June 11, 2009...Placed on reserve/injured list on August 17, 2009.

PRO: Physical young safety who caught the eye of his coaches during OTAs and minicamp...will compete for playing time in the secondary during training camp...is eager to get back on the field after missing his rookie season due to a broken arm suffered in the first preseason game.
