Tyler Polumbus life and biography

Tyler Polumbus is an American football offensive tackle for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League. He was signed by the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent in 2008. He played college football at Colorado.

Joined Seattle on August 31, 2010, via trade with Detroit in exchange for an undisclosed 2012 draft choice.

NFL CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:

* Originally signed by Denver as an undrafted free agent on April 28, 2008. Played two seasons with the Broncos before being released on August 24, 2010. Claimed off waivers by Detroit August 26, 2010.
* Has appeared in 31 of possible career 32 games. * Started eight of Denver’s final nine games at right tackle in 2009. * Tied as tallest player (6’8) to ever play for the Broncos when he made his NFL Debut on Monday Night Football at Oakland (9/9/08). * One of three undrafted rookies to make Denver’s opening day roster and one of five rookies to see action in every game in 2008.

COLLEGE:

Played 48 career games (28 starts) at the University of Colorado and earned second-team All-Big 12 Conference accolades as a senior after allowing one sack in 13 starts. Received CU’s Eddie Crowder Award in recog- nition of his leadership as a senior and was the only Buffalo to play every down from scrimmage (961) on either side of the ball while totaling 68 knockdown blocks. Started 12 games as a junior.

PERSONAL:

Earned SuperPrep All-America honors and first-team all-state recognition from The Denver Post as a senior at Cherry Creek High School in Greenwood Village, Colo. Did not allow a sack as a senior after giving up just one during his junior season. Also lettered twice in basket- ball and played baseball in high school. Attended the NFL’s Business Management and Entrepreneurial Program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 2009. Earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Colorado. Married to Elizabeth. Born on April 10, 1985, in Denver.
