Stuart Alexander "Stu" Bennett is an English professional wrestler. He is signed to World Wrestling Entertainment, and performs on the SmackDown brand under the name Wade Barrett.

He is the reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion. He was the winner of the first season of NXT, and was the leader of the The Nexus. Bennett has had several ring names, and previously competed under his real name, and as both Stu Sanders and Lawrence Knight.

9/19 Night of Champions - Randy Orton beat WWE Champion Sheamus, John Cena, Wade Barrett, Edge, & Chris Jericho in a Six Pack Elimination Match to win the title
10/4 Hell in a Cell - beat John Cena and as a result John Cena was forced to join the Nexus
10/24 Bragging Rights - beat WWE Champion Randy Orton by DQ
11/21 Survivor Series - lost to WWE Champion Randy Orton in a match where John Cena was the special guest referee. As a result of this match, John Cena was fired from the WWE.
12/13 RAW - Wade Barrett rehires John Cena following several weeks of John sneak attacking the Nexus and the group threatening to kick Wade out of the group if he doesn't rehire John
