Carla Nazih Berkachi, commonly known as Yara is a female Lebanese pop singer.

Yara was discovered by Lebanese composer Tarek Abou Jaoudeh. Yara started her musical career with the ballad "Hob Kbeer". in 2006, Yara joined Fadel Shakir in a duet called khedni ma'ak which was written by Tarek Abou Jaoudeh. In 2009 she joined Jean-Marie Riachi for the album Belaaks with the song "Shefto min biid" ("I Saw Him From Far Away ") in Lebanese dialect.

In the year 2008, Yara released her album Inta Minee (You are part of me) which was produced by Melody production.

Yara is known for her romantic songs, lots of imagination and fantasy.

Yara sings in Arabic dialects; Egyptian, Lebanese and Khaliji.

The song ''Inta Minee'' was made into a video clip, directed by Leila Kanaan and was shot between Tripoli and Jumayzeh in Beirut, Lebanon.

Yara had previous filmed a video clip for a Khaliji Gulf song entitled Sodfah –Unexpected- with the well know Lebanese producer and director Mirna Khayat Abo Elias. The filming of Sodfah took place in Jrod El Batroun in a natural forest.

As always Mirna wanted to make sure that the filming took place in a breath taking area. The filming took 3 days and Model Baljiki took the role of the young man in the clip.

There were talks between Yara and producer Mirna Khayat on doing a musical movie to bring back the legacy of good performing film history to the scene but the work has not started yet.
