Voted a finalist for the Wuerffel Trophy (athletics, academics and community) and was a Lowe’s Senior CLASS second-team All-American... Allowed just three quarterback pressures and 1.5 sacks in 405 pass plays while finishing with the highest grade on the Utes’ offensive line (88 percent)... Won 675 of his 770 total plays... Graded out at 90 percent or better in seven games.

2008: Beadles started 12 games at left tackle as a junior and led Utah with a career-best 109 knockdowns/key blocks while adding 13 touchdown blocks... Earned first-team All-Mountain West Conference honors and was named Utah’s Top Offensive Lineman... Picked up first-team academic all-conference accolades... Penalized just twice for the year... Allowed only two sacks in 414 pass plays.

2007: Beadles started all 13 games for Utah at left tackle as a sophomore after moving from guard during preseason camp... Earned second-team All-Mountain West Conference honors... Recorded 76 knockdowns/key blocks to go along with 10 touchdown blocks.

2006: Beadles played all 13 games (12 starts) at left guard for Utah as a redshirt freshman... Registered 39 knockdowns/key blocks and seven touchdown blocks as part of a unit that tied for sixth in the nation while leading the Mountain West Conference in fewest sacks allowed (14).

2005: Beadles redshirted as a true freshman for Utah.

HIGH SCHOOL: Beadles was a team-captain and a three-year starter at Hillcrest High School in Sandy, Utah, where he did not miss a game during his career... Started along the offensive and defensive lines... Recorded 93 tackles, six sacks and one interception on defense and allowed zero sacks on offense as a senior to earn first-team all-state and all-region honors... Lettered three times in baseball... Lettered twice in basketball, receiving honorable mention all-state and first-team all-region honors.

PERSONAL: Beadles majored in mechanical engineering at Utah and earned a postgraduate scholarship from the NCAA for his classroom performance... Stepfather, Joe Legerski, is the women’s basketball coach at the University of Wyoming... Zane Dae Beadles was born on Nov. 19, 1986, in Casper, Wy.
