Pop-rock artist Alanis Morissette gave her fans across the world the opportunity to unlock and reveal the full album cover to her highly anticipated seventh studio album "Havoc And Bright Lights" via her official Facebook page through a "share to reveal" Facebook application.

Multi-platinum, Grammy winning artist Alanis Morissette announced the release of a new album last month May 2nd and recently she gave her fans across the world the opportunity to unlock and reveal the full album cover to her 7th studio album "Havoc And Bright Lights" via her official Facebook page on Wednesday, June 13th.

Fans who clicked on the app were able to share with 10 of their friends to unlock the full image of the album cover. Participating regions worldwide were given different sections of the cover that were used as puzzle pieces for fans to reveal. This is just another way the songstress is using technology to connect with her fans while maximizing her online presence in a forward thinking way.


The 38-year-old singer-songwriter wrote the 12-track LP in the months following the birth of her son Ever Imre, and many of the themes on the disc touch on intimate subjects like motherhood and spirituality. "Havoc And Bright Lights", due out August 28th, was produced by Guy Sigsworth (Björk, Madonna, Seal) and Joe Chiccarelli (Tori Amos, Elton John, My Morning Jacket, U2) and marks Alanis' first release in four years.


The album's lead single is titled "Guardian" and is now available on iTunes.
