Bombay Bicycle Club joins Blur for the closing one-off show of the Olympic Games

The huge outdoor show takes place on August 12 to coincide with the games' closing ceremony and also features New Order and The Specials. As well as this, Duran Duran, Snow Patrol, Paolo Nutini and Stereophonics will also play a huge show in London's Hyde Park to coincide with the start of the Olympics on July 27.

British Indie-rock band Bombay Bicycle Club have joined the bill for Blur's special one-off show in London's Hyde Park to celebrate the end of the Olympic Games this summer.


The huge outdoor show takes place on August 12 to coincide with the games' closing ceremony and also features New Order and The Specials. As well as this, Duran Duran, Snow Patrol, Paolo Nutini and Stereophonics will also play a huge show in London's Hyde Park to coincide with the start of the Olympics on July 27.


Meanwhile, yesterday June 11st, artist such as The Who, Take That, George Michael and Emeli Sande were all confirmed to perform at the official closing ceremony of the Olympic Games on August 12th.


As well as their appearance with Blur, Bombay Bicycle Club have a busy summer of touring planned, with appearances at Benicassim and Reading and Leeds Festivals among their booked slots. They released their third album A Different Kind Of Fix in August last year.


Bombay Bicycle Club are also playing at this year's T In The Park, which is taking place July 6-8 in Balado Park, Kinross-shire.
