Famous bachelors and bachelorettes have joined the cast of Fox's new dating show "The Choice". According to EW.com singer Joe Jonas, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and Carmen Electra were among the enlisted celebs which are going to look for love on the TV show. The three stars have signed up to appear in the first season of the recently announced dating show, "The Choice" along Sitch's "Jersey Shore" co-star DJ Pauly D, "American Idol" season 5 winner Taylor Hicks, Kim Kardashian's brother Rob Kardashian, and former "Superman" series actor Dean Cain.

At the same time, former Playboy playmate Hope Dworaczyk, 2010 Miss USA Rima Fakih, and ex-Bardot star Sophie Monk are joining Electra in the female celebrity department.

FOX's alternative series president Mike Darnell gushed about the show, "It really feels like a hit. It was charming and funny... [The show] works beautifully. It's going to sell all over the world." He additionally dished that the female contestants "took it ridiculously seriously, like they were getting married," while "a couple of the setups really had chemistry."

To be hosted by Cat Deeley, "The Choice" will debut Thursday, June 7 at 9 P.M. ET. Five episodes will have male celebrities with female contestants, while one episode will have female celebrities and male contestants.

In each episode, four celebrities will be sitting in spinning chairs and listen to non-famous prospective dates pitch themselves. Over the course of three rounds, the contestant pool is paired down until each celebrity has chosen their date for the evening. Five of the episodes will feature male celebrities; one episode puts women in the power seats. The contestants were unaware who the celebrities were until moments before they went on stage, but that didn't stop the sparks.
