Jennifer Hudson paid tribute to Whitney Houston at Grammys, Bruno Mars and Rihanna noted her while performing

Following the death of Whitney Houston which made the headlines one day before 2012 Grammys on Saturday afternoon, the R&B singer Jennifer Hudson took the stage on Sunday night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and paid her tribute to the beloved icon. Jennifer sang a clear and powerful redition of Whitney's classic single "I Will Always Love You".

"Whitney, we love you," she said before closing the tribute. In addition to J-Hud, LL Cool J, Bruno Mars, Alicia Keys and Rihanna also saluted Whitney. Cool J prayed for the late singer at the beginning of the show, Bruno dedicated his "Runaway Baby" performance to the music vet, and Alicia declared her love for her before playing the piano in a tribute segment with Bonnie Raitt for Etta James.
