Taylor Swift wins $57 million in one year and tops Forbes' Highest-Paid Stars Under 30 List

The famous business magazine named country cutie Taylor Swift as the richest young celebrity in America. The 22-year-old tops Forbes magazine's list of Highest-Paid Stars Under 30, raking in an impressive $57 million in the 12 months May 2011 to May 2012, thanks in part to each of her three albums selling an excess of five million units worldwide. Forbes said each Swift concert raked in an average of $US1 million, with multi-platinum album sales and product endorsements topping up her wealth. She is expected to release a new album in October.

Pop songstress managed to beat out severala other famous celebs such as Canadian popstar Justin Bieber (age 18), by a cool $2 million, Rihanna (24) which comes in at No. 3 with $53 million, while Lady Gaga (26) only reached the fourth spot with $52 million, after she was at No.1 last year. Meanwhile, Katy Perry (27) also rounds out the Top 5 with $45 million.

Other famous faces on the list include:
- Adele (24) with $35 million;
- Kristen Stewart (22) with $34.5 million;
- Lil Wayne (29) with $27 million;
- Taylor Lautner (20) with $26.5 million;
- and Robert Pattinson (26) with $26.5 million.

The "Eyes Open" singer moved up from the fifth slot she held last year, earning an estimated $12 million more in earnings since the 2011 list. But this is not Taylor's first appearance on a Forbes list this year, either. The Pennsylvania native also landed at No. 11 on the publication's list of 100 Most Influential Entertainers.

The singer-songwriter isn't spending her days living in the lap of luxury. She recently hinted she was putting the final touches on a new album, which should hit shelves later this year. "I'm writing you from Nashville, where I just sat in a big room with a lot of people and made a lot of decisions about a lot of things happening very soon," she revealed on her Facebook page. "And as vague as that sentence was, I think you know what it means. Stuff is about to happen."
