Watch Amber Riley's tribute to Whitney Houston during Glee's Valentine's Day episode
Amber Riley delivered a wonderful redition of late singer Whitney Houston's classic song "I Will Always Love You" during the Valentine's Day episode of Glee and now her performance has gone viral on YouTube channel. The clip shows the actress playing as Mercedes Jones baring the song with great talent in front of the other New Directions kids, including Sam.
The episode - that simply read "Whitney Houston 1963-2012. We will always love you" - actually has long been planned to feature a cover of Whitney's song, but in the wake of the singer's sudden death, "the producers have decided to dedicate the episode to Houston's memory with a card in the end credits." The clip has struck a chord with Gleeks and Whitney fans alike — over 600,000 people have viewed the clip on YouTube and it was the most shared video in the world yesterday as people posted the tribute on Facebook and Twitter.
