Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to star together in The Counselor along Javier Bardem and Michael Fassbender

Fassbender is to play the title role of a respected lawyer who thinks he can dip a toe into the drug business without getting sucked down.

Following the rumors reported back February, Deadline is now confirming that the famous Hollywood couple Brangelina are set to star together again. According to the website, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are playing along Javier Bardem in the Ridley Scott-directed movie The Counselor. Also, Shame's Michael Fassbender will be featured in the movie.

Filming is set to begin in the next few months, reportedly June with shoot set in Europe. Both Jolie and Pitt, and Scott have homes in the south of France. Fassbender will play the title role of a respected lawyer who gets tangled in the drug business, the website revealed. Fox is negotiating to distribute.

Fassbender is to play the title role of a respected lawyer who thinks he can dip a toe into the drug business without getting sucked down. It is a bad decision and he tries to hang on to survive it. It has been called No Country For Old Men on steroids.

Bardem himself won the Academy Award for playing the villain in that movie, and Pitt, who is in discussions to play a character named West Ray, would re-team with Scott for the first time since that director launched his career in Thelma & Louise. Scott and Jolie have been collaborating on a biopic of Gertrude Bell, and that led to discussions about The Counselor.
