Men in Black Star Will Smith raps over DJ Jazzy and Fresh Prince's track Summertime

Joker, here we go!/ Here it is the groove slightly transformed,/ Just a bit of a break from the norm/ Just a little somethin' to brake that monotony/ Of all that hardcore dance that has gotten to be/ A little bit out of control/ It's cool to dance but what about.

Shortly before a new track recorded by the Men in Black star Will Smith the TMZ website shared a short rap treat from the actor titled "Summertime". Definitely will make sensation when officially gets released June 11.

Reportedly, the track was originally released on 1991's Homebase, an album from DJ Jazzy and Fresh Prince. Will Smith raps in the song preview :

"Joker, here we go!/ Here it is the groove slightly transformed,/ Just a bit of a break from the norm/ Just a little somethin' to brake that monotony/ Of all that hardcore dance that has gotten to be/ A little bit out of control/ It's cool to dance but what about/ The groove that soothes that moves romance/ Give me a soft subtle mix/ And if ain't broke then don't try to fix it/ And think of the summers of the past/ Adjust the base and let the alpine blast/ Pop in my CD and let me run a rhyme/ And put your car on cruise and lay back cause this is summertime/ Yeah, yeah. "

Back in 1991, DJ Jazzy Jeff and Fresh Prince's song won the Grammy for Best Rap Single and shot up the Billboard charts (it peaked at No. 4). Smith's remix is extremely pared-down, with a slowly building beat which is produced by Jeff and Mick Boogie.
