Following the footsteps of their fellow boyband The Wanted whose hit featured on the smash series Glee, One Direction's hit song What Makes You Beautiful is set to appear on Glee. The British boy band -- made up of Harry Styles, Zayn Malik Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson -- have been given the honour of having their single being performed on the musical TV drama, just like other stars such as Madonna, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga and Queen.

Actor Matthew Morrison playing teacher Will Schuester in the show revealed the news: I've just heard of them, they're really taking over the States. We are covering one of their songs on 'Glee' -- 'What Makes You Beautiful'. I need to YouTube it to practice.

The group have become huge stars in the States after starting their tour of the country earlier this year and Matthew believes their song being on 'Glee' will make them even bigger. He joked: They've made it now though, they're on 'Glee' . This will probably help their record sales too.
